While those decks might to well against storm, I seem them lacking in the rest of the field. If you are only trying to beat storm, then I would cut the worldwake cards, replacing Mire's toll with duress, and dispell with Some truths and maybe A Force spike or two

Are either of those lists even good against storm? The black list can't win before turn million, which gives them a huge amount of time to sculpt their hand. Your only interaction besides LD is 4 sorcery-speed answers to EtW (plus another 4 with thresh) and 8 discard. The blue list also has a glacially slow clock, has no answers to EtW, and its disruption is 12 counters and 4 bounce, which I guess you're planning to use on their lands, since there has to be some reason you've chosen Boomerang over Echoing Truth.

This^ you will prolly find traditional lists more suited to beating storm

I actually completely forgot about Echoing Truth.

The second list is a reasonable shell. In theory some version of Fish could be strong against Storm, although I've been turned off from the deck because Daze should be one of your best cards but it's prohibitively expensive. If you want to beat Storm, I think the creatures should be Faeries because Spellstutter Sprite is so good there.

As far as the first list goes, the land destruction doesn't make sense to me. At 3 and 4 mana, it's quite slow, and not even that good when you get to play it. Storm can win with few or no lands by crafting a hand with a Lotus Petal, which they can do quite easily because it'll take you like 30 turns to kill them. I also don't see how this deck has any hope of beating any normal deck.

With MBC you're better off sticking to the discard plan. One early disruption spell (like Distress) followed by turn-4 Okiba-Gang Shinobi is almost always enough to win.

Question on the second list.

Are the Bonesplitters worth inclusion?
They accelerate the clock once I start swinging, but with only 12 critters am I better served with some draw instead?

If you're 100% focused on beating storm, I think a more aggro version of your first deck would be best:

Aggro:
4 Carnophage
4 Vampire Lacerator
4 Wretched Anurid
4 Blind Creeper
Discard:
4 Duress
4 Wrench Mind
4 Augur of Skulls
LD:
4 Choking Sands
4 Icequake
4 Rancid Earth
Land:
20 Swamp

This has the advantage of also being decent against slow control decks like Teachings, MUC and UR Post. It does, however, automatically lose to every aggro deck.

I really dont see either of these as an anti-storm solution. If you try to pigeon hole your hate you weaken yourself too much against other decks. small changes, like maindecking echoing decays in MBC, make sense. large scale hate only makes sense when it doesnt auto-lose to the rest of the meta.

I'm willing to fall on that sword to educate our newbs on how to squish storm decks. This event isn't until March 23, so the playtesting process is kicking into gear. Hopefulluy these play well and help to give guidance on metagaming and sideboarding to our newbs. Final decklists aren,t due for verification until March 17, so I could play a completely different deck.

Muahahahahahahaha!
