Don't like Comic Sans?

Last night I downloaded a few new fonts(from the trophy help page) and I found one font with some potential.

This is basically the exact same as the previous one, but with "MagicMedieval" font.

Actually, it's mainly that I'm not a fan of display typefaces in general. I don't want to discourage you, especially since excitement, energy and participation are definitely needed in pauper.

So, instead of working on cover letters today, I worked on my version of the flier

Basically I was trying for something simple that would be easily readable from a distance (at least the most important parts) and would be easy on b&w copiers and laser printers. I was toying with putting art in but was having a hard time finding anything that was high enough resolution and graphic enough to look decent on a copier.

I'm not sure if the tilted version is quite doing it for me. I like it a lot more without the pull tabs, unless I try to put those on a tilt too On the other hand, I do like the energy it conveys. It may work better in 11x17 instead of 8.5x11.

After changes are done being made, I can put up PDFs or TIFFs in order to have lossless of these if they are wanted. I'm a little worried about what the compression may do to the font, especially on the tilted version.

tilted works a lot better. with it being so simple and in BW, it does a much better job of grabbing attention than the non.

i also second the loss of comic sans. seriously.

anyone who puts these up has to do the whole tear off one or two first... no one ever wants to be the first.

I know, I know... I'm the best Pauper around. I printed both versions of the flier and spread them around at my local gameshop's first ever Pauper tourney. It had 21 players. I talked to a few, but it doesn't sound like there were any PDC members, or even registered forum-goers. But I didn't talk to EVERYONE...

If you post a flier with tear-off tags, tear one or two off to begin with. It'll make other people more likely to also tear off the tags.
