The above is the list I just used to T8 TPDC Worlds Season 6, with the exception of some of the SB.
My SB:
4 Electrostatic Bolt
3 Molten Rain
4 Pyroblast
4 Martyr of Ashes
EDIT: Also, swap 4x Firebolt with 4x Lightning Bolt.

You could scout it out for him and post it here so he can easily cut and paste the correct build into the OP... |

| I think seal of fire not firebolt is the card to cut. Firebolt gives the deck a much needed long game. |

Sligh variants have been pressuring meta games for about a decade now.
This format is no different. Sligh is easy to play, so its where I am starting in a meta unknown to me.
Sadly, I do not have every card I wish to play so-
Looking for 2 lightning bolt and 4 fireblast.
My Burn Range:
Critters:
4 martyr of ashes (1/1 + wrath, OK by me)
4 Karp wolverine (always gets his 3 in)
4 emberwilde augur (Don't sacrifice speed for reach)
4 keldon Marauders (Top tier aggro critter)
4 oxidda Golem
4 inner flame acolyte (oxidda golem 5-8 OR a 1cc filler on turns 2-5)
Departure from traditional Sligh Creations: Improper curvature cutting low and adding high.
The Burn: Note I need 4 fireblast.
(4) 2 lightning bolt + 2 brute force (Forces get cut for lightning bolts asap)
4 Riftbolt
4 incinerate
2 needle drop (The part of sligh that people forget is managing your damage/card in addition to the curvature, this allows me to cheat that ratio a bit)
2 kaervek's torch
20 mountain
SB:
To be created.
Alterations: +2 lighting bolt - brute force +4 fireblast -4 incerate/riftbolt OR needledrop/K-torch depending on testing.
Thoughts? Plans? Lambastes? _________________ My favorite deck of all time was extended enchantress. I'm working on foiling/art modding the entirety of an enchantress deck for Legacy. Suggestions welcome. |

For a deck that's mainly aiming at the other player's head, you can probably replace the Brute Force with Lava Spike until you get two more Bolts.
Rift Bolt seems out of place in this deck, and I don't think Martyr should be maindeck. Augur is nice if it can get hit for 2 once and then be sacrificed, but if it dies before getting any damage in, a direct burn spell would be better in its slot.
You'll definitely want to get Fireblast in there, as it is key to Burn Range's success. I'd also try to fit Firebolt in. I'm not sure about Torch; I don't know if it works in a deck that doesn't want to draw too many lands, especially if you're running Fireblast.
Take all of these comments with a grain of salt; I've never piloted Burn Range in Classic, though I have played against it many times. _________________

I agree.
But, I don't.
I *could* focus more burn less sligh. But, burn... its too linear and doesn't give me enough room to outplay my opponents.
But, I might try it next week. We shall see. I will play with the numbers next Marketing class I have. _________________ My favorite deck of all time was extended enchantress. I'm working on foiling/art modding the entirety of an enchantress deck for Legacy. Suggestions welcome. |

| Frankly you can't play burn range without fireblast. It would be like blink drifter without mulldrifter. And if you are going to have a burnless sligh just play MGA. Burn is the reason to play red. |

Hey free, good to see you putting your voice out there. So here is the skinny.
Each card in your deck is equal to a certain amount of damage (unless they are lands =D). The object of playing Burn over another deck is to have the best Cost to Damage ratio. The best C/D ratio is Lightning Bolt, doing 3 damage for 1 Mana and 1 Card. Incinerate does 3 damage for 2 mana and 1 card, so it is about 66% as cost-effective as Lightning Bolt is.
But what about cards like Needle Drop? Needle Drop can only be played on an opponent or creature that has taken damage, deals one damage, and draws one card for one mana. So it is 1 damage for 1 mana and 0 cards.
Two more examples for you then I'll stop. Keldon Marauders. It is either 2 damage for 2 mana and 1 card or 5 damage for 2 mana and 1 card.
Fireblast? As you play it in the Burn deck (as in using its free casting ability), it is 4 damage for 0 mana, 1 card, and 2 lands.
=====================================================
If you evaluate all of your cards that way you will have a good idea of what kinds of cards to put into your burn deck. From looking at your deck that I played yesterday, there are a number of card choices you made that I would not agree with, primarily the Karplusan Wolverine and Frostling. They are good decent red creatures that get into the red zone, but they are extremely non-cost effective in comparison to almost any burn spell in the format.
In addition, as I demonstrated to you, lifegain is your little personal nightmare. MBC has a lot of it. MBC is popular. How do you stop it? Well, MBC only has two lifegaining spells. One is four mana, and one is six. Their four mana spell can only target creatures. So if you assume that the Burn deck usually wins around turn 4.5 (which correctly built decks do), you can expect the MBC player to have one opening to gain life, and the only thing you are doing by playing creatures is giving them the opportunity to gain life, and subsequently win the game.
So like I was mentioning before. Its not completely about play skill. Its about how well you prepare yourself and how well your opponents are prepared, and how well you are prepared for their preparedness _________________ Achievements:
